The Dukes of Surf is a sunny, surf-rock band based in Honolulu, Hawaii. Members JP, Fish and Jimmy grew up in different beach towns across the USA and share a love for sun, sand, surf, wahines, and rock ‘n roll. They debuted in Japan in 2013 under JVC Victor Entertainment and Sony Music Publishing. Their self-titled debut album was nominated for rock album of the year at the 2013 Na Hoku Hanohano awards, which is considered the “Grammy’s” of Hawaii. Their debut single, “Waikiki” soared to the top of Japan music charts and was called a “smash hit” by Japanese music critics. “Aloha Christmas”, which was their follow-up winter single, was picked up by McDonalds in Germany and played on heavy rotation in their over 1,200 locations during the 2013 Christmas Season.
